Dubai, Sep 20: ICC’s new Eite Panel entrant Nitin Menon’s howler might have cost Kings XI Punjab their first IPL video game of the season versus Delhi Capitals, chose through Super Over.

Prior to the match went into Super Over, TELEVISION video revealed that square leg umpire Menon had called a “run brief” when Chris Jordan took a couple of runs off Rabada in the 19 th over while playing towards long-on area. To KXIP’s scary, Jordan was stated a “brief run” which indicates he didn’t enter his bat inside the crease which wasn’t the case.

If that run would have been enabled, it would have meant that KXI would have won the match inside the 20 overs. Previous India captain Virender Sehwag and his opening partner Aakash Chopra lashed out at Menon “I do not agree with the male of the match option. The umpire who offered this short run should have been guy of the match.
