    Coronavirus Cases in India: Maharashtra remains the worst affected state by the pandemic

  • On Wednesday, India crossed the 50- lakh mark as it taped 90,123 new cases. The number of COVID-19 cases per million population in the country stands at 3,102, the Health Ministry has said, adding that the number of COVID-19 cases per million population in Brazil and the US– the other 2 worst-hit nations– is 6 times that of India.

  • India is the second worst-hit nation in terms of COVID-19 cases after the US.
