Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday announced that farmers affected by the unusually high rains this season in particular districts of the State will be compensated at the earliest.

The Chief Minister directed Profits Minister R.B. Udhayakumar, Details Minister Kadambur C. Raju and Minister for Adi Dravidar and Tribal Well-being V.M. Rajalakshmi to collaborate and accelerate relief operations in Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Tenkasi.
