    A regulation to “ban online video gaming” involving betting, was promulgated by the Tamil Nadu government on Friday in the backdrop of suicides by gamers who presumably lost cash. The regulation was promulgated by Governor Banwarilal Purohit based on a proposition from the state federal government.

    It attends to provisions consisting of “banning the individuals who are wagering or wagering in cyber area using computers or any interaction device or resource,” a Raj Bhavan release here said.
