Suspects selected up in Ramateertham case

The Vizianagaram district authorities, who are examining the Ramateertham temple desecration case, have actually selected up some suspects in the case.
The implicated supposedly desecrated Lord Sri Rama idol at Ramateertham on December 28, 2020, and the occurrence came to light the next day.
” We took about 10 persons into custody in the temple desecration case. Among the suspect, who allegedly harmed the idol, is an activist of a political celebration. We are probing deep into the case,” stated an investigation officer.
Authorities are searching for out the precise motive of desecrating the idol in Ramateertham, and who lag the conspiracy.
Director-General of Authorities (DGP) D. Gautam Sawang said authorities rounded up the implicated in some temple vandalising cases after the event at Antarvedi Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on September 5 in 2015.
” We are examining the temple attack cases in all angles, consisting of political instigation, conspiracy, creating communal disharmony, troubling order, provoking public and other aspects. Investigation officers are confirming whether the implicated have criminal or political background previously or associated with similar cases earlier,” the DGP said.
In a related advancement, Extra Director-General of Police (Order) Ravi Shankar Ayyanar stated that the police took a hacksaw from an accused, who made an attempt to get in into a temple in Krishna district. The very same weapon was utilized in an offence at Eluru, he stated.
” The implicated tried to commit theft in a wine store in Eluru a few days back. Again, he attempted to cut the iron grill of Kali Matha temple, located at Paritala, in Krishna district just recently. The Kanchikacherla police took the accused into custody and seized the tool. The finger prints of the implicated were matched in both (Eluru and Paritala) cases,” Mr. Ravi Shankar told The Hindu on Thursday.
” Cops collected the CCTV video footages in Rajamahendravaram, Ongole, Krishna and other cases took place in the last few days. There are similarities of the method operandi in some temple attack cases,” the Additional DGP stated.
