    The bull taming sport was held on the event of harvest festival Pongal at Avaniyapuram and as lots of as 529 bulls were utilized, cops stated.

    A minimum of 58 individuals, including spectators, were hurt at the yearly Jallikattu occasion held here on Thursday, authorities said. The bull taming sport was hung on the celebration of harvest festival Pongal at Avaniyapuram and as lots of as 529 bulls were utilized.

    The injured included spectators and sportspersons, cops said. The event, inaugurated by state Cooperation Minister Sellur K Raju, was held following COVID-19 standards.
