South Africa to Acquire 1.5 Million Covid-19 Vaccines from Serum Institute of India

The ministry included in a statement that it was dealing with the country’s health regulator SAHPRA to make sure there were no hold-ups with the rollout of the vaccines.

South Africa’s health ministry said on Thursday that the nation would get 1.5 million vaccines from the Serum Institute of India (SII), with a million coming in January and the rest the following month.
The ministry added in a declaration that it was working with the nation’s health regulator SAHPRA to ensure there were no delays with the rollout of the vaccines.
