Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday said that some individuals are “bad-mouthing” the movie industry and asserted that it is the obligation of the federal government to check the hazard of drug package.
” Some individuals are bad-mouthing film industry. It’s not just the industry however also our culture-tradition that is being disparaged. They state there is a drug racket. Is it not in politics or any other sector? It is the responsibility of government and people to stop it,” Mr Raut informed ANI.
Without calling BJP MP Ravi Kishan who had on Monday raised the issue of the use of drugs in the movie market, Samajwadi Celebration (SP) MP Jaya Bachchan on Tuesday stated that she was “embarrassed that the other day among our members in the Lok Sabha, who is from the movie market, spoke versus it”.
” Just because there are some people, you can not taint the image of the whole market. I repent that the other day among our members in the Lok Sabha, who is from the film market, spoke versus it. It is a pity,” she said during the no hour in Rajya Sabha.
She stated that people operating in the entertainment industry are “flogged” by social networks.
