    Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in an unique interview with Zee News Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary discussed how it can play the role of a mediator in the India-China dispute that has actually intensified because the Galwan valley incident in June last year. 20 Indian jawans were martyred in the clash.     On the concern of mediating or working out in between Chinese Premier Xi Jinping and PM Narendra Modi and playing a function as a neutral umpire, the Nepal PM said that he is ready to sit with the two prime ministers to solve the issue.

    ” We will talk to both sides, you should sit for the talks. Because nearly all people are peers. Perhaps somebody will be one and a half years senior or younger. Everybody have actually been in politics for a very long time. Therefore, we are peers, not ‘like’ peers.

    The Prime Minister included that if these two giant neighbours start fighting, then it will have an unfavorable effect on Nepal.

    ” We desire now is that it’s the period of Asia and we need to establish ourselves. So we want our neighbours to have an excellent relationship. Let there be an environment of trust,” he stated.
