PM Narendra Modi flags off 8 trains linking Statue of Unity with different areas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (January 17) flagged off eight trains connecting the Statue of Unity in Kevadiya in the state of Gujarat with different areas of the nation. The prime minister took part in the occasion through video conferencing.
PM Modi recommended that it was probably the first time in history that many trains from various locations were flagged off for a common destination.
” This is most likely for the very first time in the history of railways that so numerous trains from various areas of the nation get flagged off to the same location,” he stated.
PM Modi stated in his address that the connectivity of the tourist area with various locations would be helpful for travelers and it would likewise assist the regional tribal community of Kevadiya.
” This connectivity will be advantageous for travelers pertaining to see the Statue of Unity but it will likewise help in changing the lives of the tribal community of Kevadiya. It will bring new opportunities for job and self-employment,” he stated.
The eight trains will link Kevadiya with Varanasi, Dadar, Ahmedabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Rewa, Chennai, and Pratapnagar.
PM Modi mentioned on the coincidence of it being the birth anniversary of previous Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Maruthur Gopalan Ramachandran, popularly referred to as MGR.
” Among the trains flagged off for Kevadiya today stems at Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MG Ramachandran Central Railway Station. It is a pleasant coincidence that today is the birth anniversary of MGR. His life was dedicated to the service of the bad,” said the prime minister.
The prime minister also inaugurated other railway projects in Kevadiya. These consist of Dabhoi-Chandid gauge transformed broad gauge rail line, Chandod-Kevadiya new broad gauge rail line, Pratapnagar-Kevadiya freshly energized section, and brand-new station structures of Dabhoi Junction, Chandod and Kevadiya.
PM Modi had formerly shared the images of Vistadome coaches on the Jan Shatabdi Express, which is among the brand-new trains between Ahmedabad and Kevadiya.
