    Ahead of the Bihar Assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday will inaugurate the historical Kosi Rail Mahasetu and 12 other rail jobs in the eastern state.

    The Railway Ministry in a declaration said that the Prime Minister will devote the Kosi rail bridge through video conferencing which is a watershed minute in the history of Bihar and the entire area connecting to the northeast.

    The ministry said that the 1.9 km-long job was sanctioned by the Centre throughout 2003-04 The bridge has actually been built at an expense of Rs 516 crore.

    It said that the bridge is of strategic significance along the India-Nepal border.

    ” The project was completed during the Covid-Pandemic where the migrant labour likewise participated in its conclusion,” the ministry stated in its declaration.

    According to train officials, the completion of this job will fulfil the 86 year-old dream and the long wait of individuals of the area.

    The Ministry even more said the Prime Minister will likewise flag off the Saharsa-Asanpur Kupha demonstration train from Supaul station.

    The regular train service, as soon as functional, would benefit Supaul, Arariya and Saharsa districts.
