On first day of Navratri, Yogi Adityanath introduces ‘Objective Shakti’ campaign to empower females
There will be a separate space for females plaintiffs in 1,535 cops stations across the state
In a quote to examine criminal activity against females in the state, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign in Balrampur today – the first day of Navratri. He also made a statement for a separate room for ladies complainants in 1535 authorities stations across the state.
Speaking on the celebration, CM Yogi said, “There will be a different space now for ladies plaintiffs in 1535 police headquarters across the state, where a female Cops constable will attend them & there will be immediate action on their grievance. Perpetrators of crimes versus women will be punished promptly.”
The Chief Minister expressed distress and pain over the Balrampur rape-incident. He called the event an exceptionally unfortunate one which is why he decided to release the ‘Objective Shakti’ from Balrampur.
” To pay tribute to the victim of a really unfortunate occurrence, I decided to kick-off Objective Shakti project from Balrampur and I’m extremely happy to launch this programme. Mission Shakti focuses on ensuring security and regard for every single female in the state,” said Yogi Adityanath while resolving the gathering.
The launch of the event was welcomed by young women showing self-defence methods as an act to display women strength.
Prior to the launch occasion, CM Yogi used prayers at Devi Patan temple on the celebration of Navratri.
Objective Shakti is an unique 180- day project released for the safety and security of ladies and women in all the districts and mandals, consisting of the capital city Lucknow. Under this, an awareness will be created amongst people for ladies’s security and security.
On September 29, 2020, A 22- year-old college student was gang-raped and attacked in Balrampur. The woman yielded to her injuries while being taken to health center. Police jailed 4 individuals in the event and sent them to prison.
