Narendra Modi pens Gujarati poem eulogising sun on Makar Sankranti

The poem says, “Today is the day to pay respect to the one ruthless mover who travels without taking any break for the welfare of all.”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has penned a poem on Makar Sankranti singing the magnificence of the sun. The poem states, “Today is the day to pay regard to the one unrelenting mover who takes a trip without taking any break for the well-being of all.”
Mr. Modi tweeted the poem written in Gujarati, his mom tongue, after extending greetings to individuals on Makar Sankranti which was celebrated on January 14.
The PM later tweeted a Hindi translation of the poem.
The poem starts by glorifying the sky.
Very first couple of lines say: “ Aabh Ma Avsar ane Aabh Ma J Ambar, Suraj No Tap Same Aabh Ma ane Chandni Relai A J Aabh Ma(The sky offers us this event as it represents the whole horizon in which the Sun shines and the Moon likewise shines).”
The poem goes on to explain other opportunities of the sky, including stars, and states “Those who have sky high dreams can accomplish higher objectives, while those who have low level dreams resemble stones and pebbles who face a great deal of issues”.
The poem, amongst all the aspects of the sky, then songs out the sun for full marks.
It states, “The sun strolls on the course of austerity, it takes a trip relentlessly, with no break with a hope of doing excellent to others.” It even more states: “Today is the day to offer tarpan (water) to the sun, I bow down to the sun.”
The PM has penned lots of poems in Gujarati, and released a book of poems also.
Makar Sankranti is marked with enthusiasm in numerous parts of India. Mr. Modi welcomed people in numerous languages on Twitter as this harvest celebration is commemorated in various methods and names in the country. “It also reaffirms the importance of respecting Mom Nature,” Mr. Modi tweeted.
