New Delhi: Calling 3 expenses related to farming “anti-farmer”, AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday demanded that the Centre withdraw them, saying his party will vote against the bills in Parliament.
” The 3 costs related to farming and farmers brought in the Parliament are anti-farmer. The Centre had on Monday presented The Farmers’ Produce Trade And Commerce (Promo And Facilitation) Expense, The Farmers (Empowerment and Security) Agreement on Rate Guarantee and Farm Providers Bill, and ‘The Vital Products (Amendment) Expense to change the regulations promulgated earlier.
These costs seek to supply barrier-free trade for farmers’ produce outside notified farm mandis, and empower farmers to participate in farming contracts with private gamers prior to production for sale of agri-produce.
