DUBAI: Bahrain’s Investcorp said on Sunday it has made a financial investment in Xpressbees, an Indian logistics start-up, as part of a consortium of local and international investors.
Xpressbees has an existence in more than 2,000 towns and cities in India, with more than 1,000 clients throughout industries including e-commerce, pharmaceutical, customer products, retail, manufacturing, electronics and consumer durables.
Investcorp did not disclose the size of its financial investment, however stated it was part of a Series E round– a late phase funding round to scale up an organization.
Indian paper reports have actually reported that Xpressbees raised $110 million in its most current financing round.
