    India Summons Charge D’Affaires of Pakistan Objective Over Ceasefire Violations That Eliminated 5 Soldiers, 4 Civilians

    In a declaration, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said it was highly deplorable that Pakistan chose a joyful event in India to disrupt peace and perpetrate violence in Jammu and Kashmir through collaborated shooting along the LoC.

    New Delhi: India on Saturday summoned the Charge d’Affaires of the Pakistan High Commission and lodged a strong demonstration over the unprovoked ceasefire offenses by Pakistani forces on several sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

    In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said India also condemned, in the greatest terms, the “deliberate targeting” of innocent civilians by Pakistani forces, stating it was highly terrible that Pakistan chose a joyful occasion in India to disrupt peace and commit violence in Jammu and Kashmir through collaborated shooting along the LoC.

    ” The Charge d’Affaires of the High Commission of Pakistan was summoned by the Ministry of External Affairs today and a strong demonstration was lodged over unprovoked ceasefire infractions by Pakistani forces, on multiple sectors along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on November 13, resulting in the death of four innocent civilians and major injuries to 19 others,” the MEA said.

    Apart from the civilians, 5 security forces personnel were eliminated in the Pakistani action. Indian forces retaliated strongly to the Pakistani shelling in which killing eight Pakistani soldiers and hurting 12 others, official sources said.

    ” India likewise strongly opposed Pakistan’s ongoing assistance to cross border terrorist infiltration into India, consisting of through supporting cover fire provided by Pakistan forces,” the MEA stated. “Pakistan was when again reminded of its bilateral dedication to not allow any territory under its control to be utilized for terrorism versus India in any manner,” it stated.
