PM Modi will turn 70 on September17 (File)
The Gujarat federal government announced that a variety of pro-people plans and advancement jobs in the state would be launched on Thursday to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 70 th birthday.
These plans and projects will be remotely launched by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani from Gandhinagar through video-conference facility in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and Governor Acharya Devvrat, the government stated in a statement on Wednesday.
Union House Minister Amit Shah would essentially attend the occasion from Delhi. He is set up to attend the e-bhoomi pujan event of 247 supply of water project for Gandhinagar to be held at 11 am, it added.
State ministers, MLAs and other leaders will attend this occasion from 70 various places in all the 33 districts across the state, the release stated.
The CM would initially release a scheme in which farmers would be motivated to opt for cow-based natural farming, for which the federal government would offer month-to-month help of Rs 900 to farmers.
He would also release another scheme of offering packages to farmers to make Jivamrut, a natural fertiliser.
Later, the CM and the Deputy CM would launch a water system project for 205 towns of Narmada and Tapi districts, it included.
On the celebration, both the leaders would perform e-bhoomi pujan of project to supply 247 drinking water to the citizens of Gandhinagar, the release stated.
Other plans which would be launched tomorrow consist of a scheme to provide loans worth Rs 1,000 crore to 10 lakh ladies to start their own organization.
10 MoUs related to the Environment Modification Department would be signed, the statement included.
