Google is supposedly dealing with connecting Nest Audio speakers with Chromecast streaming gadgets
Google is working on integrating its Chromecast streaming devices and Nest Audio speakers, according to a comment from a Google representative in The Wall Street Journal, in a move that would offer Google’s clever home and streaming gizmos a function parity with Amazon and Apple.
Being able to integrate a streaming platform with a wise phone speaker makes a lot of sense for these companies. After all, consumers already have all the hardware in their living space– why not repurpose those speakers to enhance the noise of your Netflix films? Plus, there’s the added perk of prompting clients to stay within a company’s ecosystem. You’re most likely to purchase a HomePod mini if it works with the Apple TELEVISION you currently have.
The ability to link clever speakers to streaming boxes is also something that both Apple and Amazon already use. Apple lets customers link both HomePods and HomePod mini speakers to the Apple TV (the Apple TELEVISION 4K and the full-sized HomePod even uses extra synergy with virtual Dolby Atmos assistance). And Amazon lets customers both utilize their Echo devices to < a data-cdata= "" has-subtag="real" href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202174250 & tag = theverge 02 -20" rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" target =" _ blank" > manage their Fire Televisionsand < a data-cdata =" " has-subtag="real" href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GDFMQWDYT5MCAEA4&tag=theverge02-20" rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" target =" _ blank" > to output audio
Google’s strategies are very vague for now– The Wall Street Journal makes no mention of which gadgets the company is seeking to link together, when the function will get here, or what sort of use cases it’s wanting to accomplish. However with Google increasingly wanting to push users towards its clever house devices, making them all work much better together just makes great sense.
