4 of Household, on Way to House for Chhath, Killed in Roadway Accident in Jharkhand’s Jamtara
The household was travelling from Dhanbad to their native town in Katihar when their vehicle clashed with the pickup van originating from the other direction at Satsal.

4 persons of a family en route to celebrate Chhath at their native town in Bihar’s Katihar were eliminated in a head-on accident between their automobile and a pickup van in Jharkhand’s Jamtara district on Sunday, police said. The household was travelling from Dhanbad to their native village in Katihar when their cars and truck collided with the pickup van coming from the other instructions at Satsal, they stated.
Those eliminated were Vishwanath Mishra (55), his other half Yaras (50), their boy Sumit (32) and daughter-in-law Ragini (30), authorities stated. Vishwanath’s five-year-old granddaughter Khushi and three-year-old grand son Piyush were injured in the accident and going through treatment at PMCH, Dhanbad.
Vishwanath, a retired soldier, is presently employed at the Divisional Railway Supervisor’s workplace in Dhanbad.
