DMK chief MK Stalin’s kid apprehended while launching party’s poll project; launched an hour later

DMK Youth Wing leader and MK Stalin’s son Udayanidhi Stalin was apprehended in Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam district while starting the celebration’s massive pre-assembly survey outreach programme on Friday.
Udayanidhi Stalin, the son of celebration chief MK Stalin, was detained as the cops did not allow for the program at Thirukuvalai.
Cops said Udhayanidhi and his supporters were held as the project breached the social distancing norms of the COVID-19 pandemic. They were lodged in a marriage hall for about an hour prior to being launched.
Condemning the authorities action, DMK members staged a demonstration. “We will resume the program from tomorrow (Saturday),” he said.
Over the next 75 days, DMK’s 15 leaders will meet individuals in all the 234 assembly constituencies to highlight the “misrule of the AIADMK government”, the DMK stated.
Assembly elections in the state are due in April-May next year. The DMK is now eager to wrest power from AIADMK in the state where it has been in opposition for the last over 9 years.
In a declaration released, DMK stated the 15 celebration leaders will hold 15,000 conferences in 4 phases, travel 15,000 km, and hold 10 lakh conversations to spread out DMK President MK Stalin’s message ‘Towards the Dawn’.
According to DMK, the purpose of this program is to know the issues faced by the individuals apart from highlighting the misrule of AIADMK government.
The celebration will likewise collect individuals’s expectations of the next federal government post-2021 assembly surveys.
DMK President Stalin will start his election campaign in January 2021.
The celebration’s Youth Wing Udayanidhi Stalin on Friday had started the outreach program in Nagapattinam district.
