Discord bans pro-Trump server ‘The Donald’
Discord has actually prohibited a server called “The Donald,” a pro-Trump community connected to prohibited subreddit r/The _ Donald and TheDonald.win. The news was first reported by Platformer author (and Brink contributor) Casey Newton.

” We have a zero-tolerance policy versus hate and violence of any kind on the platform, or using Discord to support or organize around violent extremism,” Discord said in a declaration shared with The Brink “While there is no proof of a server called The Donald being utilized to organize the Jan 6 riots, Discord chose to prohibit the whole server today due to its obvious connection to an online forum used to prompt violence, plan an armed insurrection in the United States, and spread damaging misinformation associated to 2020 U.S. election scams.”
Reddit banned pro-Trump subreddit r/The _ Donald in June following a growth of its policies to prohibit hate speech more explicitly.
