Delhi: 2,110 fined on Thursday for not wearing masks

With the Delhi government increasing fines for not using a mask in public locations from Rs 500 to Rs 2,000, the Delhi Authorities issued 2,110 challans on Thursday for not wearing a mask, taking the total figure of challans to 4,98,984
Data from the Delhi Cops states that while the majority of the challans have actually been released for not using a mask, an overall of 3,368 challans were issued for spitting at public locations and 37,774 challans were issued for violating social distancing standards.

The Delhi government assembled an all-party meeting on Thursday to go over methods to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.
