A Delhi court on Saturday asked the counsels appearing for previous Union Minister MJ Akbar and journalist Priya Ramani if there was any scope for settlement between the two in the ongoing disparagement case.
Extra Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Pandey of the Rouse Opportunity court observed that MJ Akbar’s criminal disparagement case against Priya Ramani was compoundable in nature and asked, “exists any scope of compromise?”
Supporter Bhavook Chauhan, representing Priya Ramani, replied that he did not believe the matter can be intensified due to realities associated with the case being strange.
