    CBI Takes Over Investigation into Illegal Sale of Waqf Residence in UP, Books Shia Waqf Board Chief

    New Delhi: The CBI has actually taken control of the examination into alleged prohibited sale, purchase and transfer of Waqf residential or commercial properties in Allahabad and Kanpur, and reserved Wasim Rizvi, previous chairman of Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board, in this regard, officials stated.
