Befitting Reply If Any “Superpower” Hurts National Pride: Rajnath Singh
India’s soldiers can providing befitting reply if any “superpower”, Rajnath Singh stated.
India does not want a war however its soldiers are capable of giving befitting reply if any “superpower” injures the country’s pride, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Thursday in the middle of the eight-month-old border standoff with China.
” We do not desire war and we remain in favour of securing everybody’s security but I want to say this in clear terms that if any superpower wants to injure our pride then our soldiers can providing a befitting reply,” Mr Singh said.
The Defence minister firmly insisted that India never ever wanted dispute with any nation and chosen to keep peace and friendly ties with its neighbours.
” It always wanted peace and friendly ties with its neighbours due to the fact that it remains in our blood and culture,” he said at the 5th Armed Forces Veterans” Day at the Headquarters Training Command of the Indian Flying Force in Bengaluru.
Describing the standoff with China, he said the Indian soldiers showed excellent courage and patience and if that can be told then every Indian will feel happy.
Mr Singh hailed the Indian soldiers who showed extraordinary nerve in “getting rid of terrorists on the Pakistan soil”.
Chief of Defence Personnel General Bipin Rawat was likewise present.
