Apple briefly closes all staying Apple Stores in the UK
Apple has been closing down loads of stores as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to peak– on December 20 th, it momentarily closed every location in California, Mexico, Brazil, and over a lots in London. Now, as England and Scotland go into a pair of new national lockdowns, Apple is closing all of its remaining shops in the UK.
As 9to5Mac‘s Michael Steeber reports, that indicates 18 additional stores are now closed across the UK, including several in Scotland and one in Belfast, Ireland– though it looks like the Belfast shop may have currently been closed. ( Northern Ireland went into lockdown even previously, on December 26 th, shutting down all non-essential stores.)

While it feels worthwhile to note the closures, they may not make all that much of a difference for more shoppers, who currently could not physically get in a number of these stores given that November. That’s when Apple started using express service just at much of these stores. You ‘d have been able to choose up online orders, however you could not search.
